What to Expect:
For your scheduled massage appointment at Telluride Bodyworks, we ask that you arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment to fill out a brief form pertaining to the history of your health. Your therapist will then go over your intake form with you and ask further questions regaurding areas of concern, recent injuiries or surgeries, if you have any allergies or current skin conditions, preference of pressure, etc. After your intake, your therapist will instruct you to disrobe to your comfort level and get under the sheets on the massage table. When your therapist returns to the room your bodywork session will begin at this time. Your therapist will check in with you periodically throughout treatment to ensure that your maximum comfort level and expectations are obtained. At the end of your session time your therapist will go over your session, any improvments or changes they've noticed from you last session, and recommend a few stretches or home exercises if necessary. You are always welcome to ask questions and give feedback! You will also be given water and encouraged to continue drinking water throughout the next few days. It's important to keep the body hydrated, especially after a massage, and even more so at high altitude!
