Office Policies
100% Full Payment is required for the following conditions:
No Show: If you do not show up for an appointment, you will be charged the full cost for the appointment. Payment is due before your next appointment.
Tardiness: If you are late to your session you are welcome to receive whatever time is left in your appointment. Due to our tightly booked schedule we are generally unable to extend your session beyond your original appointment time. Regardless of the length of the service actually given, you will be responsible for payment of the full service you scheduled. Please plan to arrive 5 minutes early for your appointment.
24 Hour Cancellation: Failure to cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance will result in a charge of 100% of the scheduled appointment fee. Payment is due at the time of cancellation. Failure to pay this fee will result in suspention of next booking untill this fee is paid.
Personal Illness: Canceling or rescheduling your appointment at least 24 hours in advance due to personal illness will result in a charge of 50% of the scheduled appointment fee, which will then be applied to your next scheduled session. Payment is due at the time of cancellation. Failure to pay this fee will result in suspention of next booking.
Please reschedule your appointment as soon as you are aware of an infectious or contagious condition.
If you arrive for your appointment with symptoms of an illness, you will kindly be asked to reschedule your appointment to avoid the spread of germs. This protects are most susceptible loved ones - children, the elderly, & people with suppressed immune systems, like cancer patients.
If any of the following describes you, I kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment so we can prevent the spread of bugs:

Vomiting or Diarrhea

Runny Nose

Sore Throat or Cough

You are currently taking an antibiotic.

You have a skin infection like ringworm or athletes foot.

You or someone in your direct care has a cold, sinus infection, or flu bug.

You or someone in your direct care has been diagnosed with influenza (the flu).
No one likes being sick & the onset of symptoms doesn't always have great timing, right? This is why a fee of 50% of the scheduled appointment will be applied to your next appointment at the time of a cancelation or rescheduling.
Booking Online: When booking online, a valid credit card will be required at the time of booking & if you are a new client you will be asked to fill out a new client intake form. Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.
Payment: Full payment is due at time of service. We prefer cash and checks, but will also accept major credit cards. Returned checks will be charged a $35 processing fee.
Age Requirement: We accept appointments for minors (Anyone under the age of 18) if the minor is accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during the service and have a parent/legal guardian signed Minor Consent Form.
Gift Certificates: As of 1/1/2020 Telluride Bodyworks will no longer offer Gift Certificates. We have made an effort to reach out to each client who still had an open Gift Certificate on file at that time. We ask that If you currently have a Gift Certificate please try to redeem by 1/1/2021.
Insurance Billing: We do not offer direct insurance billing and we do not provide a coded receipt for your session to be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement. You are responsible for payment at the time of service.

Pain treatment requires a diagnosis. As of this time, a licensed massage therapist is not licensed to diagnose or treat pain. Telluride Bodyworks does not diagnose or treat pain. Our therapeutic goal is to create alignment and balance, through assessment; not to "chase the pain." We aim to recognize and treat dysfunctional strain patterns before they become pain patterns.
